More than 300 migrants were sent home from Stavropol in 2025
In the Stavropol Territory, bailiffs sent 346 migrants home in 2025. All of them were in the territory of the Russian region illegally.
According to the StavropolMedia news agency, with reference to the State Department of the Federal Migration Service for the region, the foreigners were taken to the border checkpoint.
Legally, citizens of other countries can stay in the territory of the Russian Federation for 90 days if a visa is not required. Foreigners may not arrive again immediately, but only after 90 days.
Earlier it was reported that a migrant will be denied Russian citizenship and a residence permit if he has committed a crime under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in his native country. The Cabinet of Ministers approved such a bill of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. When applying, migrants are also expected to require a certificate of no criminal record, and the foreigner will be required to obtain the relevant document himself in his homeland.
