More than 22 million rubles will be spent on planting flowers on Chita's lawns

Chita city administration is looking for a contractor for landscaping city streets. A competition has been announced for planting almost 138.5 thousand flowers. It is conducted by the Committee of Urban Economy. The starting price of the contract is 22.3 million rubles.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, violas, marigolds, carnations, petunias, gaillardia, salvia, phlox, ageratum, pelargonium, cineraria and coleus will appear on the lawns. Flower beds will be placed on Lenin, Labor, Decembristov, Theater and Revolution squares, as well as in Tselinnik, Gagarinsky and Solnechny squares, in MZhK Park, on the square near the railway station, on Tchaikovsky, Butina and Chkalov streets.

The flowers will be placed in metal structures, flower pots, flower beds and flower beds. The contractor is obliged to water them twice, in the morning and in the evening.

Earlier it was reported that two squares will be put in order in Chita in 2026. The spaces for landscaping were chosen during the All-Russian online voting. We are talking about public areas at 48 Amurskaya Street and 66 Shestiperova Street. They scored 6,000 and 4,351 votes, respectively.
