On January 29, the government of the Tula region discussed the organization of the multi-format music festival "Wild Mint"-2026.

A working meeting was held under the leadership of Mikhail Panteleev, First Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region, at which the key tasks of ensuring security during the preparation and holding of mass events were outlined.

According to the organizers, on June 19-21, more than 15 thousand guests and participants of the festival from various regions of Russia - from Krasnodar to St. Petersburg and from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok — will gather at the Wild Mint art camp.

Eight stages will serve as venues for 130 performances by artists of different genres. Three tent camps are designed for 4.5 thousand places. The guests of the festival will be provided with free drinking water, as well as everything necessary to prepare baby food and meet other needs in the mother and child's room.

Site preparation is carried out in several stages: from construction and installation work and anti-mite treatment to the organization of access control, inspection activities and the use of experts from the cynological service.

For the purposes of anti-terrorist protection, the use of a video surveillance system is ensured, as well as the technical fortification of the territory.

During the mass event, police and Rosgvardiya officers, private security organizations, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Tula region, as well as more than 100 volunteers will be involved. There is an operational headquarters.

The Chairman of the Government of the Tula region stressed that, on behalf of Governor Dmitry Milyaev, work has been intensified to increase the tourist attractiveness of the region.

"The infrastructure of the Wild Mint art camp was formed with the assistance of measures to support the national Tourism and Hospitality project. Currently, it provides year—round recreation opportunities and the expansion of the Tula Region's event calendar, which in turn requires increased security measures at the site," said Panteleev.

Following the meeting, a plan for the further organization of the event was outlined.
