The most dangerous sections of roads in Kurgan are named

The three most dangerous sections of roads with a high risk of accidents were identified in Kurgan. The hotbeds of accidents were named by the head of the regional department of the State Traffic Inspectorate, Yuri Filipchuk, at a press conference on the results of the department's activities for 2025.

"This is the intersection of Kolya Myagotin and Lenin Streets, the intersection of Pushkin and Krivolapov Streets, and the intersection of Chekhov Overpass and Mostostroiteley Street," Filipchuk said, as quoted by the correspondent of the <url> news agency.

According to the expert, another place of concentration of car accidents is located on the territory of Shadrinsk. This is the intersection of Sverdlov – Karl Liebknecht streets.

According to the head of the Kurgan traffic police, by the end of 2024, nine dangerous places were recorded: six in the regional capital and three in the region. As a result of joint work with the authorities, these hotbeds of accidents were removed from control.

In the current 2026, work will be carried out to solve problems at new locations.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that in Russia they plan to simplify the process of registration by traffic police officers of drivers stopped under the influence of alcohol. Currently, inspectors are filling out up to six protocols, but their number may decrease to two or three.
