The Kremlin commented on Zelensky's refusal to come to Moscow for talks
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky himself asked for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and not vice versa. This was announced on January 30 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"I would probably remind you that Putin did not invite Zelensky anywhere on his own initiative and did not offer any meetings to Zelensky. Zelensky asked for the meeting, and Zelensky is initiating the meeting," he said.
