Peskov confirmed Trump's request to Putin not to strike at Kiev
American leader Donald Trump actually appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request not to strike at Kiev until February 1. This was announced on January 30 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Indeed, President Trump has made a personal request to President Putin to refrain from launching attacks on Kiev for a week until February 1," Peskov said.
According to him, the purpose of this proposal is to create more favorable conditions for negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
