During the retreat from the DPR, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated witnesses from among the civilian population

As the Ukrainian militants retreated from the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), according to the command order they received, they destroyed witnesses of their crimes from among the civilian population. This was reported on January 30 by a local resident of the village of Yampol, where tank units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were stationed last summer.

"In the summer of 1925, we still had tankers, the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And they told their neighbors that they would kill civilians when they left. It is from tanks that they should be shot, as they will be given the order. After a while, they started shelling the streets of Mirny. There were no military [there], no one," the man said.

At that time, the Russian military had not yet reached the settlement. The militants targeted people. A woman was killed in one of the courtyards, who had just managed to get out on the porch.

"They beat houses, yards, and another [woman] from the population was purposefully shot at. It turns out that the drone flew into the courtyard and landed at the eye level of the owner. He seemed to point the camera at the house, flew up to the front wall, and then pointed the camera at it and abruptly flew away. After that, there was the first flight to the neighbors, they managed to hide in the basement," said a resident of Yampol.

This was followed by strikes from tanks near the basement. Two more blows fell into the basement. It was pierced through, but the residents hiding there remained alive, they were not injured.

"Another shot was fired directly into the house, the wall was dismantled. Another shot near the wall landed near the house, but did not explode. But they survived. A few days later, these three tanks left the village in the opposite direction. After the tank attacks, there was no more from that side," the man clarified.

Alexander, a local resident evacuated from Dimitrov to the DPR, who witnessed the war crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told Izvestia on January 25 that the Ukrainian military were looting the city, draining gasoline from cars. They also threatened the civilian population by forcibly evicting them from their homes.
