The most popular cars in St. Petersburg are named
By the end of 2025, the Chinese Haval Jolion crossover, which is produced in the Tula region, has become a bestseller in the primary car market of St. Petersburg. In just a year, 4,152 copies of Jolion were sold there, according to the analytical agency Autostat.
If Haval Jolion was the leader in the St. Petersburg market in 2024, then the Belarusian crossover Belgee X50 rose to second place, with a result of 3432 units. Lada Granta is on the third line (2956 units).
This is followed by the Geely Monjaro and Changan Uni-S/CS55 Plus crossovers (2,762 and 2,463 units, respectively). The top ten was completed by Lada Vesta, Haval M6, Belgee X70 and two Haval models — F7 and H3.
Haval is also the leader in the vintage rating in St. Petersburg (13.1 thousand units), which is equivalent to a sixth of the total volume. Next are Lada (8,444 units), Geely (6,738 units) and Chery (6,082 units) and Belgee (5,942 units).
In total, 78.5 thousand new passenger cars were sold in St. Petersburg in 2025, which is 15% less than a year earlier. 64% of them relate to Chinese brands at once, compared to 74% a year earlier. The share of Russian and Belarusian brands has increased.
Earlier, on January 27, it was reported that the Belgee X50 crossover became the most popular new passenger car in the Moscow market by the end of 2025, with sales of 8,061 units in the capital.
