Starting with the merger of two TV channels and one newspaper in 2008, today NMG has become Russia's largest private media company, where TV channels, newspapers, online video services, websites, production, advertising, film distribution, infrastructure technology companies and data analytics services successfully interact and complement each other.

Since 2015, NMG has been the leader in terms of the share of the television audience among all Russian media holdings, which was confirmed by the results of 2025 (Mediascope TV Index, Russia, cities with a population of 0+ people, the actual share of the audience is All 4+, all day 05:00-29:00, period 2025 FY)

The holding's portfolio includes channels that work for a wide variety of viewership: REN TV, CTC, Doomashny, Fifth, CHE, Izvestia and many others. This allows us to offer the most diversified media products for both viewers and advertisers. According to the results of 2025, four NMG channels — Fifth, REN TV, Yamashny, CTC - are among the top 7 most popular channels in the country, and in general, NMG TV channels include almost 120 million Russian residents every month. The Wink online cinema, which is also part of the media holding, is one of the top 3 largest in the country's market.

At the same time, NMG's content is enjoying growing popularity in digital terms. So, in 2025, CTC became the leader among TV channels in terms of popularity on online platforms (six CTC series are in the top 50 in terms of viewing time), "Three Cats" is the most popular animated series in online cinemas, and the series "Lilies of the Valley" from Wink is the main Internet project of the year in terms of popularity in search results..

A few years ago, NMG focused on growing its own-made content, and today the holding's television channels alone produce thousands of hours of programs, series, and films per year.

Having been actively investing in the creation of Russian media content for many years, in 2025 the National Media Group entered into full-fledged joint production with foreign producers for the first time. The detective action film "Red Silk", released on big screens in 2025, is the box office leader in its genre in Russia. Having received the status of a national film in China, according to the results of distribution in China, it collected about 13 million yuan.

The media holding is actively expanding its international activities. In 2025, NMG content was sold to 68 countries around the world, and cooperation agreements were signed with the Media Corporation of China, the Xinhua News Agency of the People's Republic of China and three major media companies in India.

As the largest manufacturer and distributor on a national scale, the holding company is aware of its responsibility for influencing society through media products. Today, NMG is a leader in creating socially transformative content. Such series as "Difficult Teenagers", "Aunt Marta", "Crybaby", "The Boy's Word", "Chemistry between us", "Lilies of the Valley. Such a tender love" and many other projects have actually influenced the lives of a huge number of people in Russia. Technological tools that help are integrated into almost every such project: links to special websites, hotline numbers, and chatbots. Inclusive projects occupy a special place. The children's educational program "Razvecheba" includes a digital translator into Russian sign language specifically for hearing-impaired and deaf children. Fundraising programs and social videos on the holding's channels annually help raise hundreds of millions of rubles for non-profit organizations.

The National Media Group consistently invests in employee development, corporate culture and internal communications, creating conditions for professional growth, implementation of ideas and long-term cooperation. The Holding considers human capital as one of its key values and strategic pillars.

By the end of 2025, the National Media Group entered the top ten employers in Russia, according to the industry rating HeadHuner.ru . The high position in the rating reflects the holding's systematic work to create a modern, sustainable and comfortable working environment, as well as a high level of employee engagement and trust.

"18 years old is the age of growing up and new horizons. All these years, NMG has been at the forefront of the media industry, along with our viewers, readers, listeners, and the whole country. We do not rest on our laurels and are constantly looking for new opportunities to develop the holding as a leader in the information and entertainment market. And behind all this is the work of the NMG team, thousands of talented and dedicated people," said Svetlana Balanova, General Director of NMG.
