Russian Armed Forces destroyed two Ukrainian Armed Forces assault groups in Sumy region

In the area of the village of Varachino, Sumy region, two assault groups of the 71st Airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were destroyed, which were about to advance to the settlement. This was reported on January 30 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The advance of two assault groups of the 71st separate airmobile brigade in the direction of Varachino has been opened in advance," RIA Novosti reports.

It is specified that both enemy combat groups were destroyed by complex fire damage.

On January 29, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the liberation of the village of Belaya Bereza in the Sumy region by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The military also struck formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces mechanized brigade in the areas of the settlements of Proletarskoye and Kondratovka.
