The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, promised to "become very smart" soon, because now she has started reading a lot of history books. Her speech on January 30 is published by the Reuters news agency on the You-Tube channel.

"You know, the list of books I've read is quite long. I won't tell you exactly what I'm reading right now, but it concerns the history of different regions. So when I finish this job, I will become very smart," the politician said at a press conference.

This is how Callas commented on a question from a journalist about Syria, who expressed a desire to give her a book about the history of the country.
