Simultaneous construction of administrative buildings in 20 cities has begun in North Korea.

The construction of political facilities in 20 regions has started in the DPRK. The ceremony was attended by the leader of the state, Kim Jong-un. This was reported on January 30 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"Starting this year, in 20 cities and counties of the country, along with the construction of modern light industry enterprises, large-scale construction of an advanced healthcare facility and a complex of cultural and consumer services will be carried out simultaneously and extensively, which has already successfully passed the pilot stage," the publication says.

Kim Jong-un, in turn, stressed the importance of the participation of the Korean People's Army in the implementation of this program, calling it an important stage in preparation for the IX Party Congress and improving living standards.

KCNA reported on January 25 that Kim Jong-un personally supervised the manufacturing process of the sculpture complex, which is planned to be installed in the Museum of the Exploits of the Soldiers of the Korean People's Army (KPA) who participated in the liberation and demining of the Kursk region. It was noted that during the visit he got acquainted with the symbolic tower, the central and auxiliary groups of sculptures, as well as decorative elements on the outer wall of the complex, appreciating the creative form and artistic perfection of each detail.
