Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who are part of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the self-propelled artillery regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces, spoke about performing combat missions in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the area of a special military operation. On January 30, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation publishes footage of combat work.

The ministry noted that Russian military personnel continue to strike at identified manpower and fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and also actively use tactics called "artillery carousel" in their work, which involves working from several pre-prepared firing positions with their constant rotation.

They are disrupting attempts to rotate, regroup and bring reserves, which are being undertaken by Ukrainian militants and are actively cooperating with operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) who are helping to adjust the fire of the BM-21 Grad.

"We are constantly working with combat vehicles, so to speak, we leave every day, we work out, we change positions, we charge up, we leave with other vehicles again. <...> The team is well—coordinated, everyone helps each other, supports each other in everything," said Samat Arduganov, senior officer of the battery.

He clarified that during all this time of work, he and his comrades have strengthened their morale. According to Arduganov, each of the members of his team is ready to help the other "at any moment."

His colleague, Nikita Anisimov, a deputy platoon commander from the Sverdlovsk region, added that the soldiers who got used to each other managed to become a small family.

"Everyone has already got used to it, we are holding on, we understand that we need to go to the end. Victory will be ours in any case," he said.

Currently, artillery units of the 90th Guards Tank Division, as emphasized by the Russian Defense Ministry, provide reliable fire support to the advancing assault units of the Center group of forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region, creating conditions for further advance.

Calculations of the Lightning unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Russian Armed Forces performing combat missions in the DPR on January 22 told Izvestia about the results of their combat missions. Then the engineer of the calculation of the UAV with the call sign Kuzbass listed to the correspondent of Izvestia Valentin Trushnin the features of the cumulative warhead of the drone, which affects military equipment. The interlocutor clarified that such a device can also be used to destroy enemy manpower.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
