The expert named the amount of unemployment benefits after the indexation in February

The maximum amount of unemployment benefits in Russia after the planned indexation from February 1, 2026 will be about 15,886 rubles. On January 30, Viktor Lyashok, a senior researcher at the RANEPA Institute for Social Analysis and Forecasting, told RIA Novosti.

The expert explained that the indexation of the allowance will amount to 5.6%. As a result, the maximum benefit in the first three months after the indexation will be about 15,886 rubles, and in the next three months it will decrease to 6,209 rubles.

It is specified that at the moment the maximum amount of unemployment benefits is 15,044 rubles per month, which is paid during the first three months, after which payments are reduced to 5,880 rubles per month.

The indexation will affect families with children, pensioners, the disabled and other beneficiaries.

Natalia Melnikova, the former head of the Pskov Region Social Fund department, announced on January 24 that more than 40 types of benefits, payments and compensations, including maternity capital, monthly payments for child care up to 1.5 years old and support for federal beneficiaries, will be indexed from February 1, 2026.
