Parents of those minors who have signs of enterovirus infection, namely vomiting, loose stools and headache, should consult a doctor. This was announced on Friday, January 30, by Galina Companets, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamental Medicine at the School of Medicine and Life Sciences of the Far Eastern Federal University.

"We need to watch the child. If the condition suddenly gets worse, severe headache, vomiting that does not stop, or persistent loose stools, you need to seek medical help here," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

At the same time, if the child has only a rash and a high temperature that lasts for several days in the range from 38 to 38.5 degrees, adults may not worry, as this does not pose a danger.

Galina Nevryuzina, a pediatric neurologist of the highest category at the SM Clinic for Children, told Izvestia a day earlier that headaches in children may indicate not only infections, but also poisoning. At the same time, if the problem began to be observed in a minor on a regular basis, as she added, this may indicate a latent pathology that will require professional diagnosis.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
