CAS rejected Bolshunov's appeal for non-admission to the OI-2026
An appeal filed by Alexander Bolshunov, a 29-year-old Russian skier, calling for a review of the decision not to be allowed to attend the Olympic Games, which will be held in Italy in 2026, has been rejected. This was confirmed on January 29 by a document published on the website of the Special Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
"Therefore, the dispute should have arisen no later than January 27, 2026, in order to fall under the jurisdiction of the CAS special commission. As a result, the case could not be considered because it was filed outside the jurisdiction of the CAS special board for the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy," the text says.
