The first initiative of the sixth season of the You're In the Game competition, which officially started on January 21 in Moscow with the participation of Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Olympic Committee, was the Vologda Marathon project in the Scale category.

For more than ten years, the NGO "Vologda Marathon" has been bringing together cyclical sports enthusiasts, organizing year-round running, skiing, cycling competitions, corporate and family sports events in the region. The initiative is aimed at involving as many people of all ages as possible in physical education.

"Since 2014, we have held dozens of competitions, which were attended by more than 35,000 people. But we don't just organize marathons and other activities, we have formed and continue to form a community of people who are passionate and united by sports. We are making skiing, running, and cycling more accessible and attractive, showing that anyone can engage in such sports, regardless of age and training," the authors of the project say.

A large-scale initiative is being implemented by a team of five enthusiasts. They attract participants and volunteers, look for sponsors and partners for their events, ensure that the race tracks and trails are in good condition, as well as the functioning of the training base in Kiriki-Ulita (Vologda region). It is on the development of its territory that the authors of the project would like to spend their winnings so that athletes can prepare for high-quality starts at any time of the year.

The Vologda Marathon project is well known in the region, and today it is ready to make itself known at the federal level, demonstrating its willingness to share its experience.

"The fame of the contestant in the region and the region where the application comes from are not important at all — the value of the idea comes to the fore. Therefore, any project, even a local one, can win: every application, without exception, is reviewed by a council of professional experts. At the same time, the contest gives its participants something more than just an opportunity to win financial support. Even if you fail to take the grand prize, participating in the competition itself is an important and valuable experience. All semi—finalists get access to the educational accelerator, and with it - new knowledge and useful acquaintances. Often, the very realization that you are not alone, that your idea is shared by other people, gives you confidence and helps you not to give up," adds Anastasia Tukmacheva, expert of the competition, sports blogger, chairman of the Healthy Fatherland public movement in Moscow and the Moscow Region, triathlete, ultramarathoner, finisher of the legendary Comrades ultramarathon.

The VI season of the All-Russian sports Project Competition "You're in the game" is held in five main categories: "Starting Point", "Scale", "Children in sports", "Transformation in sports", "Limitless opportunities", as well as in three nominations from the partners of the competition — "Corporate Sports", "Sports Tourism" and "Media". Participants who complete all the selection stages will receive cash prizes. The winners in the main categories will receive 500 thousand rubles each, and the Grand Prix winner will receive one million rubles. Special gifts have been prepared for the winners in the partner nominations.

Any citizen of the Russian Federation who has reached the age of 18 and permanently resides on its territory, as well as Russian legal entities and individual entrepreneurs implementing sports projects, including family projects involving children under the age of 18, can take part in the competition.

To apply, you need to fill out the form on the tyvigre website.Russia. All detailed information about the contest will be published there. Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2026. The winners will be awarded in the summer of 2026 in Moscow.
