Road service points will appear on the roads of Transbaikalia

Multifunctional road service points will appear along federal and regional roads in Transbaikalia. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Economic Development on Thursday, January 29.

The issue of their creation has already been discussed at a meeting in the department. The meeting was attended by representatives of the tourism sector, the consumer market and the regional road administration.

The points will include gas stations, cafes, hotels and other facilities necessary for drivers. It is assumed that the initiative will contribute to the development of tourism in the region.

The authorities plan to transform the existing centers first, and then build new ones. The Ministry of Energy is currently working on creating support measures for those who wish to participate in the creation of such an infrastructure.

Earlier it was reported that in 2026, Transbaikalia will receive more than 47 million rubles for the development of tourism. The funds will come from the federal budget.
