Four cars collided on the highway near Monchegorsk in the Murmansk region. One person died.

The accident occurred on the morning of January 29 on the 1271st km of the Kola highway. According to the Bi-port news agency, the driver of the Haval car drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a Lada Granta car. Then there was a collision with Ford Mondeo and Gazelle cars.

The driver of the domestic passenger car died on the spot. The Haval driver is hospitalized. An accident investigation is underway.

Over the past day, 270 road accidents occurred on the roads of Russia, in which 26 people were killed and 342 injured.
