Almost 470 million rubles will be allocated in Transbaikalia for air transportation

Almost 470 million rubles are provided in the budget of Transbaikalia to support air transportation in 2026. Most of the funds will be used for internal communication, the press service of the regional government reports.

Thus, 360.4 million rubles will be allocated for regular flights from Chita to Menza, Krasnokamensk, Krasny Chikoy, Kyra, Yumurchen and six other settlements.

Another 109.2 million rubles will be spent on the development of inter-regional flights, writes ChitaMedia news agency. The money is used to support and increase flights to Blagoveshchensk, Abakan, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo and other cities.

As the authorities explained, financial support for civil aviation is not just an expense, but an investment in the sustainable economic development of the region and improving the standard of living of Transbaikalians.

Earlier it was reported that Russia and Laos are negotiating the resumption of direct flights. At the first stage of the launch, a flight from Vladivostok is possible. In addition, the expansion of the acceptance of Mir cards is being discussed.
