A respiratory infection in the form of influenza could have caused the death of nine people in a neuropsychiatric boarding school in Prokopyevsk. This was announced on January 29 by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education Gennady Onishchenko.
"In this case, of course, we are talking about a complication. This is a common factor, and it is possible that a respiratory infection in the form of influenza provoked this outcome," he told RIA Novosti.
