Starting from February 1, over 40 social benefits will be indexed to the inflation rate in Russia. This was announced on January 29 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"Starting from February 1, more than 40 social benefits, allowances, and compensations will be increased. They will be indexed according to the level of consumer inflation last year," he said.

According to Mishutin, this measure will affect millions of Russian citizens, including families with children, Heroes of Russia, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, combat operations, Heroes of Labor, as well as people with disabilities.
