Since the beginning of the special military operation (SVO), the number of humanitarian supplies sent to the front by volunteer communities of the Northeastern Administrative District (SVAO) has been in the tens of tons. Assistance is provided several times a month, the press service of the Prefecture of the Northern Administrative District reported.

In early February, another batch of items collected by the residents of the Northern Administrative District will be handed over to the military personnel of one of the front lines and the civilian population. The Altufevskaya Family community has prepared more than three tons of ammunition, equipment, food and other necessary items. At the request of the military, 100 camouflage nets were woven and 300 trench candles were made. Medicines, construction tools and much more are being prepared for shipment.

The community, formed in 2010, unites five volunteer sites. In 2014, activists organized the collection of humanitarian aid for families of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Since 2022, volunteers have been actively helping the fighters of the SVR and their families, the civilian population of the new regions of Russia and the liberated territories. In total, since the beginning of its operation, the community has sent more than 148 tons of humanitarian supplies to the war zone.

Also, since the fall of 2022, a large-scale project "Everything for Victory!" has been implemented in the NEAO. The Solidarity Association, with the support of the prefecture, provided direct communication with the residents of the district who serve in the SVO zone. Activists not only collect traditional humanitarian aid, but also purchase and send construction materials to the front for the construction of trenches and dugouts. The first batch, sent to the front line in November 2022, included tools, building materials and generators. In total, more than 60 tons of cargo have been delivered to the front within the framework of the project since the beginning of the SVO.

You can join the SVAO volunteers at the support points for participants in a special military operation. The points are operating in all districts of the district, the press service of the Prefecture of the Northern Administrative District noted.
