The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is Russia's main trading partner. This was announced on January 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"They have developed a trusting and constructive level of relations, which allows them to discuss the most difficult issues. As for bilateral relations, the Emirates is a major trading partner, trade is growing, and we are developing relations in all areas, successfully and on a mutually beneficial basis," he said.
