The Investigative Committee will find out the circumstances of the deaths of six more residents of the Kuzbass boarding school

The investigative authorities are investigating the causes and circumstances of the death of six more people from among the boarding school residents in Prokopyevsk. This was reported on January 29 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) in the Kemerovo region.

On January 24, a source from Izvestia reported that 46 people had been hospitalized as a result of an outbreak of influenza A in the Prokopiev boarding school for people with mental disorders. A group case of influenza A virus was recorded from January 23 to January 24.

On January 29, it was reported that in January of this year, nine patients of the Prokopiev boarding school for citizens with mental disorders died, in which influenza A had previously broken out. Most of the dead were elderly people with chronic diseases. Decompensation (malfunction) of heart failure, circulatory system diseases, thromboembolism and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are listed among the causes of death.
