Orban announced his intention to firmly oppose Ukraine's accession to the EU
Hungary, despite pressure from Brussels, will not allow Ukraine to join the European Union (EU). This was announced on January 29 by Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"Three quarters of Europeans reject Ukraine's accelerated accession to the European Union. Nevertheless, Brussels continues to move forward, no matter what," he wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
