In New York, the driver of a Honda car that repeatedly crashed into a Brooklyn synagogue was arrested. In his defense, the man said that his car had "skidded." This was reported on January 28 by the New York Post (NYP).

"A gray Honda sedan with New Jersey license plates crashes into the side entrance of the Chabad Lubavitch World Center in Crown Heights at least four times," the publication says.

It is specified that as a result of the accident, the entrance doors that were hit were torn off their hinges. All visitors to the synagogue were evacuated, and there were no injuries.

According to the newspaper, after the incident, the man did not make any statements of a terrorist nature. The local police are continuing to investigate the incident.

On January 11, KNBC reported that a truck crashed into a crowd of people in Los Angeles during rallies in support of the protest movement in Iran. It was clarified that after the hit-and-run, the protesters tried to attack the driver and broke the windows in the car.
