Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have developed special cartridges for Kalashnikov assault rifles designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on January 29 by a fighter of the Leningrad Guards Regiment of the Zapad group of forces with the call sign Serge.
"The latest developments are nozzles for a cartridge from a Kalashnikov assault rifle to shoot down birds (as the military calls drones. — Ed.) of the enemy. There are six pellets of a certain caliber inside this cartridge," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
