The calculation of the Hurricane MLRS destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Zaporozhye region

The calculation of the installation of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the 29th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces destroyed camouflaged ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on January 29 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Information about the targets was sent to artillery units to prepare for fire damage. The calculation of the Hurricane MLRS, having received the exact coordinates, fired a volley of high-explosive shells. As a result of the attack, an enemy stronghold and hidden ammunition depots were eliminated. The suppression of the AFU positions in this sector of the front led to a decrease in their combat capability.

On January 27, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the Vostok group's unmanned systems had identified and destroyed positions of field artillery and a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) disguised in the forest belts of the Zaporizhia region. After reaching the specified positions, the operators carried out fire damage on the Bogdana-BG howitzers and a tank, which were used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine formations for fire support of assault units.
