In the French National Unification Party, headed by Marine Le Pen, there are differences of opinion on issues related to the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on January 28, citing a source.

"[The party has] a traditional pro—Russian faction <...> and a pro—Ukrainian, pro-Western faction. <...> There is a large group between them that does not think too much about these issues - they are fundamentally pro-Russian, but they realized that this is not very good from the point of view of elections," explained an unnamed French official in an interview with the publication.
