The indexation of social pensions in Russia from April 1 will amount to 6.8%. This was announced on January 28 by Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
"Starting from April 1, as planned, social pensions will be indexed by 6.8%, regardless of the fact that the actual inflation rate for the year was 5.6%," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
