The court turned the property of the ex-deputy head of Rosavtodor into state income
The Vyborg District Court of St. Petersburg has satisfied the claim of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office against the former deputy head of Rosavtodor Andrey Samaryanov, deciding to convert his property in the amount of 220 million rubles into state income. This was reported on January 28 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that Samaryanov used his official powers for personal enrichment, buying real estate and cars, which he issued to close people — his ex-wife, mother, sister and her roommate in order to hide his real property status.
In the period from 2012 to 2024, holding various positions, including the post of deputy head of Rosavtodor since April 2021, Samaryanov acquired assets worth more than 250 million rubles. At the same time, Samaryanov and his relatives have earned 65 million rubles from their work since 2006.
One example is an apartment in Moscow with an area of 104 square meters in a business class residential complex, designed for a sister's roommate, with a very low price. In addition, parking spaces purchased for the former spouse were recorded.
"The requirements of the supervisory authority have been fully satisfied. Property with a total value of 220 million rubles has been transferred to the income of the Russian Federation, including four cars, five apartments in St. Petersburg and Moscow, as well as a plot of land with an apartment building with an area of 2.2 thousand square meters in the Leningrad region," the report says.
As a result, according to the prosecutor's request, the court decision was applied for immediate execution.
On January 22, the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reported that the property of the former chairman of the Rostov Regional Court, Elena Zolotareva, and her family members had been converted into income of the Russian Federation. In addition, funds totaling over 128 million rubles, as well as euros, dollars and jewelry worth about 17.6 million rubles have been converted into state revenue.
