Moscow authorities support developments in the field of prosthetics, stressed Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. He spoke on the MAX channel about technological solutions that help improve the quality of life of people who have suffered injuries, including participants in their own.

Innovations that can give people back the opportunity to lead an active lifestyle are in great demand, the mayor stressed. The developments are being created with the participation of the Academy of Innovators, Innovator of Moscow and the Phoenix Assistive Technology Center, Sobyanin recalled.

Among the latest achievements are bioresorbable implants with an innovative chemical composition. They reliably fix bone fractures for the period of healing, and then completely dissolve in the patient's body, without requiring repeated surgery. The implant helps with complex injuries and reconstructive surgeries.

Another solution, which the mayor spoke about, is engineering systems and exoskeletons. In particular, Rehab Technologies offers a social and household exoskeleton that has no analogues in the world. "The structure is made up of modules: depending on the patient's needs and the doctor's recommendations, it can be transformed by disconnecting certain blocks," Sobyanin explained.

The AlterType smart modular keyboard for people with limited hand mobility is also among the developments of Moscow companies. It allows you to assemble a personal configuration from compatible modules, adapting to the individual characteristics of the user.

"All these developments are already being applied in practice and help, among other things, the participants of the SVR to recover faster and live a full life," said the head of Moscow.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
