Residents of the Tula region gave 5.1 million rubles per day to fraudsters

Over the past 24 hours, eight people have become victims of telephone and online fraud in the Tula region. The total damage amounted to 5.1 million rubles.

A resident of the Leninsky settlement lost the largest amount. The scammers contacted her via messenger and convinced her to transfer 2.9 million rubles, allegedly to recalculate her work experience. This is reported by TSN24.

The age of all victims ranges from 21 to 71 years. Police officers remind you that you should not transfer money to other accounts or provide card details after talking on the phone.

In Yakutia, a 45-year-old woman transferred more than 2.8 million rubles to an outside account. The scammers convinced the victim that she should transfer the money to a "safe deposit box."
