A group of State Duma deputies has introduced a bill that will allow women serving in the army and law enforcement agencies to retire for family reasons at the age of 43. This was announced on January 28 by deputy Dmitry Svishchev (LDPR).

"Today we are introducing a bill that corrects the injustice. We are talking about women who chose to serve their homeland, but were forced to leave for family reasons: to take care of a child or close relatives," he said in a conversation with TASS.

According to the initiative, persons dismissed from service after reaching the age limit, for health reasons, in connection with organizational and staff events or for family reasons will receive the right to a retirement pension. Another criterion is reaching the age of 45 for men and 43 for women on the day of their dismissal, provided they have a total work experience of 25 calendar years or more.
