Oil products caught fire when UAV debris fell in the Voronezh region

The fall of the wreckage of downed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Voronezh region provoked the ignition of petroleum products. This was announced on January 28 by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.

"When the suppressed UAVs fell, there was a fire of petroleum products, by now it has already been extinguished," the Telegram channel said.

Gusev clarified that no one was injured as a result of the incident. He also expressed gratitude to the emergency services involved in extinguishing the fire.

On January 28, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems had eliminated 75 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Russia overnight. It was clarified that four UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Astrakhan region, three drones were destroyed over the Kursk region and the Sea of Azov, two UAVs each over the territories of the Voronezh and Bryansk regions, and one drone intercepted over the Rostov, Tambov and Volgograd regions.
