Deputies of the State Duma (DG) from the LDPR faction, led by party leader Leonid Slutsky, have drafted a bill, if adopted, which will reduce the working week of one parent with three or more minors in his family to 30 hours. This is evidenced by the relevant document on January 28.

"The draft law <...> proposes to supplement Part 1 of Article 92 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation with a provision establishing the right of one of the parents with three or more children to a reduced working time — no more than 30 hours per week," RIA Novosti quotes the text.

It is noted that the usual duration of an unabridged working week in Russia is 40 hours. This indicator may change for a number of citizens, but the list of those who have this opportunity does not include parents with many children.

Slutsky, speaking with the agency, said that employees with more than three children in their families literally count every second. Returning home, such workers, according to him, do not have time to rest, as they are engaged in cooking dinner or helping each of their children with homework.

"If we give our families more free time to raise children, we will get healthier, happier, more active citizens in the future who will live and work for the benefit of the Motherland," he concluded.

On January 19, deputies from the LDPR faction submitted to the State Duma a bill on the abolition of paid parking in Russia for large families. The potential implementation of the plan, as Slutsky clarified at the time, would reduce the burden on the budget of a family with several minors and ensure equal guarantees for them throughout the country.
