The United Kingdom has increased the number of its military personnel in Ukraine since 2024. This was announced on January 27 by the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom, John Healy.

"We have several British military personnel in Ukraine who are assisting the embassy and Ukraine in its defense. <...> Since the elections [in July 2024], this number has increased," Healy said during a speech to the defense committee of the House of Commons (lower house) of the British parliament.
