Roskomnadzor has restricted access to the Shikimori anime website

Roskomnadzor has restricted access to the website of the online anime encyclopedia Shikimori.one, according to the Unified Register of Domain Names, websites and network addresses that contain data prohibited for distribution in the Russian Federation.

The restriction of access to the site, according to the registry, began on January 22. The current status of the page in the database is "Access is restricted to the site".

The owners of the site confirmed the blocking by the RCN in the Telegram channel. They noted that access to the resource is "temporarily" restricted.

Shikimori is a Russian-language online platform dedicated to anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture. The resource contains catalogs of works, user ratings, reviews, and thematic discussions.

On January 12, Roskomnadzor announced that there were no grounds for unblocking the Roblox platform in the Russian Federation. The agency noted that it is ready to consider the possibility of removing the blocking of the platform in case of elimination of the identified violations.
