MWM: The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a valuable and difficult-to-replace Mi-24 helicopter after the Geranium attack

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered the loss of a valuable Mi-24 helicopter during an attack by Russian troops. This was reported on January 27 by Military Watch Magazine (MWM).
"One of the destroyed targets was a Soviet-made Mi-24 attack helicopter, one of the most valuable types of aircraft in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is quite difficult to replace," the publication says.
It is noted that in 2024 Ukraine had 45 Mi-24 helicopters.
