Storm warning announced in Kuban due to icy conditions

In the Krasnodar Territory, weather forecasters announced a storm warning due to heavy ice. Unfavorable conditions will remain until the middle of the day on January 28.

According to meteorologists, the expected ice is dangerous. First of all, this is due to the formation of ice on the road. The day before, icy conditions led to an almost twofold increase in the number of road accidents in Krasnodar. This is reported by KrasnodarMedia news agency.

Frosty weather is expected in the coming days, with temperatures dropping to -6 degrees at night. On January 28, the temperature will rise to +3 degrees in the afternoon, sleet and rain are possible, which will worsen the situation with icy conditions.

At the same time, on Thursday, January 29: warming is expected to reach +10...+12 degrees, which is typical for the beginning of spring.

Earlier, forecasters warned of increased frosts by the end of the week in Moscow. The temperature will be 4-5 degrees below the climatic norm.
