The number of group foci of acute respiratory viral infections has increased in Transbaikalia

Over the past week, the number of group foci of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) has increased by 60% in the Trans-Baikal Territory. This is reported by ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.

Restrictive measures are in effect in eight educational institutions. Six classes were transferred to distance learning in two schools. In addition, the work of six groups in six kindergartens has been suspended.

Foci of group morbidity were identified in Olovyanninsky, Khiloksky, Borzinsky, Uletovsky districts and Chita.

In just one week, more than 2.4 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections were detected. In 12.8% of cases, citizens were diagnosed with the flu.
