The tempering school began work in Blagoveshchensk
The first Amurosaurus tempering school in the Amur Region has opened in Blagoveshchensk. The project was launched by the regional public organization of winter swimming.
Classes are held outdoors at Pogranichny beach, PriamurMedia news agency clarifies. The organization's participants are taking a pilot course. As part of the face-to-face training for beginners, gradual adaptation is carried out and basic skills are taught with a focus on process safety. Experienced swimmers undergo intensive practice in extreme conditions.
According to the chairman of the organization, Eduard Khodakovsky, the project was realized thanks to the creation of a tempering center on the Amur River. The city administration helped to prepare the infrastructure.
In the future, a health trail will be created around the site. In addition, free exercise and relaxation on the ice are planned.
