In the context of the active transition of public services to digital format, an unstable Internet connection in the regions remains a key problem, including during the admission campaign in 2026 for admission to universities. Alexey Nezhivoy, head of the operational headquarters of the Independent Trade Union Novy Trud, told Izvestia about this, noting that the lack of mobile Internet could seriously limit access to "Public Services," especially for residents of territories without a wired connection.

— The main risk of a complete transition to digital format and the use of "Public Services" lies in their unavailability with unstable communications, — said Nezhivoy.

At the same time, the expert noted the high level of operation of digital services, emphasizing that "Public Services" are confidently used by people of different ages, and the functionality of the platform surpasses its foreign counterparts in many aspects.

How the admission campaign to universities and institutes will be conducted this year, read in the Izvestia article
