Iltalehti reported on Orpo's desire to sit at the same table with Putin

Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo said he would not mind being at the same table with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said this in an interview with the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti on January 26.

"When asked, Orpo replies that he would certainly be able to sit down at the same table with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but the time has not yet come to start a dialogue," the article says.

Orpo also added that the current state of affairs is not sustainable in the long term, and sooner or later European leaders will have to enter into a dialogue with Russia.
