WhatsApp messenger (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist in Russia) is unsafe, and there are many opportunities for attacks on it. Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messenger, announced this on January 26.

"When we analyzed how WhatsApp implemented its 'encryption,' we found many attack vectors," he wrote in X (ex. Twitter).
