Less than a third of the Baltic gas reserves remain in the Inchukalnsky UGS

In the only underground gas storage facility (UGS) in the Baltic States, in the Inchukalnsky UGS, gas reserves have decreased to below 33%. Gazprom announced this on January 26, citing data from Gas Infrastructure Europe and the operator of Latvia's Conexus Baltic Grid gas transmission system.

"Less than a third of the gas reserves remain in the only underground storage facility in the Baltic States. As of January 25, the occupancy rate of the Inchukalnsky UGS is below 33%," the department's Telegram channel says.
