An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka. The readings were recorded on January 26 by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

"The epicenter of the earthquake was located 364 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 23.3 km," the agency's Telegram channel reported.
