Social payment "resident cards" to be issued in the DPR

The PSB, together with the Government of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Alpika company, launched the "Map of a Resident of the Donetsk People's Republic" project. The Bank has become a key partner of the initiative and has started issuing debit cards based on the Mir payment system, which will combine financial and socially significant services for residents of the region. The "DPR Resident Card" combines a banking instrument and a system of regional benefits and services. It will simplify access to social opportunities, such as preferential travel on public transport, and in the future ensure the full use of municipal services. At the first stage, the maps will be received by residents of the Volnovakha district, later the project will be scaled to the whole republic. In addition, within the framework of the program, it is planned to launch a pilot project "Student's Map" in the near future, aimed at students of the DPR.

PSB acts as a partner of the DPR, both in the development of financial infrastructure and in the implementation of social initiatives, the bank stressed. "The Resident's Card project clearly shows how modern technologies help improve the quality of life by combining banking functions and access to social support measures. It is important for us that modern financial instruments help people solve everyday tasks faster, easier and more comfortably," said Alexander Bobrik, Vice President and Managing Director of the Donetsk branch of PSB.

The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin called the project an important step in creating a convenient and modern system of social services for citizens. "We are consistently building a digital infrastructure that combines support measures, transport, and education in one tool. The partnership with PSB allows us to implement such solutions systematically and with an eye to scaling throughout the country," he said.
