At least two shots from Igla-S portable missile systems were reproduced by the military from the Venezuelan side during the US operation to capture the leader of the republic, Nicolas Maduro, but local specialists lacked the skills. This was announced on January 26 by Russian Ambassador to Caracas Sergey Melik-Baghdasarov.
"There were shots from the Eagles. I was told that there were at least two shots, and both Needles missed their target," he told Rossiya-24 TV channel.
